Job Description: Java-J2EE DeveloperLongterm contract Location: Fairfax, VA Must hold a greencard or U.S. Citizenship Will perform software development and unit testing tasks in support of the sustainment of a large web-based application. Work with a team of software professionals to correct defects and develop new functionality. Follow detailed lifecycle processes, utilizing best practices for configuration control and development practices. Maintain and extend JAVA J2EE based applications which utilize an MVC framework, an Oracle database, and a Resin application server. Bachelor's degree required 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. There are needs for: Mid level 4yrs + Senior level 8 yrs + Knowledge of software lifecycle processes (CMMI). JAVA programming Experience in the following areas is a plus: Progress 4GL. Oracle. Resin. Subversion.
