Job Description: Progress DeveloperLongterm contract - or temp to perm Location: Fairfax, VA Must hold a greencard or higher Job Summary · WebSpeed Application Development and Maintenance · Work with the Development Manager and Business · Analysts on design, prototyping, programming, coding, testing, integration, support and deployment of updates As needed · Develop new modules, features and reports to support the business and marketing needs. · Develop code using using SpeedScript, Progress 4GL, XML and other languages in a Unix environment. · Develop and maintain technical (design documents, unit and integration plans) and end-user documentation. · Research and fix data errors as needed. Must have skills/knowledge/experience ·ÔBachelor degree with 5 years or greater experience ·ÔMinimum of 5 years Progress 4GL or SpeedScript Experience ·ÔMinimum of 1 year of WebSpeed Experience ·ÔMinimum of 1 year development on a Unix environment ·ÔMust be experienced in HTML and JavaScript Soft qualities: ·ÔProgramming against an Oracle Dataserver ·ÔXML/SOAP Experience ·ÔPVCS or Subversion - Version Control Software ·ÔWork on large scale applications Work on a CMMI assessed organization
