Job Description: Java-J2EE DeveloperLongterm contract Location: Fairfax, VA Must hold a greencard or U.S. Citizenship Java based web developer. Perform software UI design, development and unit testing tasks in support of the sustainment and new development efforts of a large web-based application. Gain the unique experiences of a CMMI level 5 project that services over 3 million web pages daily. Work with a team of software professionals to correct defects and develop new functionality. Maintain and extend Java-based applications which leverage some of today's most popular frameworks and technologies; Hibernate, Spring, Component-based UI, web services. The following are the basic qualifications for this position: Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4+ years experience. Knowledge of software lifecycle processes. JAVA programming focusing in user interface, end user experience, creativity and web graphics. Minimum of 1 year experience with a component based UI framework. This is a suitable position for a Webmaster who also has experience with developing user interface using different frameworks A minimum of 1 year with Tapestry and other User Interface framework experience is required. Any experience with wireframe and graphic design will be a plus for this position. Bachelor's degree required 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. There are needs for: Senior level 8 yrs + Knowledge of software lifecycle processes (CMMI). JAVA programming Experience in the following areas is a plus: Progress 4GL. Oracle. Resin. Subversion.
