Job Description: Senior Business Transformation Specialist - Enterprise Architect(Applications Architect) This is an ERP project the client is working on. The Applications Architect will assess and communicate the detailed technology architecture for up to eight legacy applications. For these legacy systems, the Applications Architect must have the ability to accomplish such tasks as understanding the business requirements, governance structure, system functionality, system deficiencies, application design, application integration/ interfaces, systems hosting/technical platforms, and the current operation, support and maintenance parameters for each. The Application Architect will work with business process, technical staff, and business stakeholders. The Application Architect should be familiar with industry standards, processes, and best practices for application development and maintenance/sustainment. Knowledge of DOD legacy logistics and acquisition systems and the assessment of those systems is preferable.
