Job Description: The role requires an individual with good general technical understanding of a range of platforms and IT issues. Although good technical knowledge will be key in successfully executing the work, this is not a hands-on technical administrator position. The role will require good general understanding of security issues and good SQL skills – ideally with MS SQL Server. The primary function of the individual(s) will be to review outputs from security automated scans and audits (Qualys or QualysGuard), use SQL and other analytic tools (primarily Hyperion and/or Excel) to prioritize, categorize and group the issues and enter them into a trouble-ticket tracking system (Assyst). Using this information, the individual will create detailed resolution requests for the appropriate operations team and interact with the various teams.Some training will be provided on both the prioritization and analysis of security issues, as well as on the tools and process required for tracking resolution. The role will give a broad insight into complex security related issues as well as providing a great opportunity to build on SQL and data analytics skills. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: ·ÔMinimum 3 years IT experience and/or strong recent graduate ÔÔÔinterested Ôin IT Security REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: This should be coupled with excellent people skills to ensure good working relationships with project teams. In addition, the candidate must be: ·ÔGood general IT skills, ideally in Production (Network) Operations ·ÔKnowledge of both Linux and Microsoft Operating Systems ·ÔSQL experience either in a professional role or from study ·ÔUnderstanding of IT Security (IP) ·ÔGood written English on technical subjects ·ÔExcellent communication skills ÔGood organizational skills DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: ·ÔQualys ÔAssyst ÔHyperion Interactive ·ÔMS Excel ·ÔMS SQL Server 2005
