Job Description: Job Title: Security Systems Administrator, Salaried PositionJob Location: Arlington, Virginia Longterm contract Must have BS and ability to obtain a Clearance, - citizenship required Oracle certifications Unix, Linux certifications, CISSP Skills: Oracle 9i, 10g, Linux, Unix, experience with STIGS, Cops, Satan, ISS Support and development of the Civilian Personnel Management Service (CPMS) Oracle Defense Injury and Unemployment Compensation System (DIUCS), Oracle Field Advisory Service (FAS) System and the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Process Install and maintain software and operating system upgrades that will enhance the security of the system. The contractor may be required to automate the examination of log files to look for security breaches or attempts. Ensure the system operates at a C2 level of security and will identify any deficiencies. Create procedures to validate requirements for new accounts and to revalidate old accounts. The procedures will be used by the system administrator and the DBA to create UNIX user accounts and Oracle user accounts respectively. These procedures will be used to prevent unauthorized users from gaining access to the systems. The procedures will be documented in the System Administration Guide. Create an automated process to perform penetration testing using such tools as cops, Satan or ISS. The results of the penetration testing shall be provided to the chief of the Operations Branch and the Information Systems Security Officer. This process should run once a month, and the contractor shall work with the Chief of the Operations Branch and the Information Systems Security Officer to correct any deficiencies noted by the penetration testing tool. Penetration Test results shall be included as a section of the Monthly Status Report.
