Information Architect

start date - January 19, 2008

Location: Alexandria, VA

Longterm Arena Technical, LLC position

Key responsibilities and skills:
·ÔDefines the information schema for the Domain Objects.
·ÔResponsible for the DB schema, including normalization.
·ÔResponsible for DB performance, including tracking key queries to the performance solution (indexing, schema changes, views, partitions, and de-normalization).
·ÔIn conjunction with the Application Architect and the Integration Architecture, defines the Domain Model that is used throughout the system.
·ÔDetermines System-of-Record (SOR) for each data item, and tracks synchronization issues when data is stored in multiple places.
·ÔMaintains data mappings, as necessary, between systems, particularly around codes and descriptors.
·ÔEstablishes design for analytical and operational reporting (including data mart, if necessary, and data flow from the operational data store to the data mart).
