Job Description: Our client is seeking a Radar Engineer for a temp-to-perm position near Atlantic City, NJ.Job Responsibilities Seeking an Engineer with radar system design experience to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Program at the FAA William J.Hughes Technical Center near Atlantic City, NJ. The ideal candidate will be familiar with radar systems and their use. Such background would include some mixture of primary and secondary surveillance radar. Experience with phased array radars and/or Aegis is a plus. As a clarification, the ideal candidate will have radar design experience. In lieu of that, we need someone that understands the capabilities and deficiencies of radars (understand how low the radar can scan without errors and understand the cross sections needed) to determine if the radar can be used for UAS purposes. Education/Equivalent Training Required Requires BS degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Electronic, Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Computer, Physical) from an accredited College or University. Experience 10-15 years of related experience. US Citizenship Required
