Job Description: Location: LangleyDirect placement with our client HIGH LEVEL CLEARANE REQUIRED Required skills: Systems Engineering Background and the ability to manage engineering activities from end to end. Exp writing system security plans and functional test plans, Exp working with security elements to obtain accreditation for Government computer systems. Understanding of security fundamentals. Basic understanding of databases, operating systems and web servers etc. Strong writing skills and ability to create documentation. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks. Ability to represent the branch in multiple forums (enginnering, review boards, outreach etc.). Desired: Knowledge of Solaris 10, Oracle, Weblogic and Tomcat Familiarity with GCS/ECG hosting solutions. Performs technical planning, system integration, system implementation, verification and validation, cost and risk assessment, and supportibility and effectivenesss, analysis for total systems. Analysis are performed at all levels to total systems product to include concept design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trades studies, requirement allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specification. Application Hosting Engineering (AHEB) with GCS/Enterprise Computing Group, looking for an experienced Systems Enginner. AHEB is chartered with the design and support of corporate hosting environments and the selected candidate will be a member of our physical hosting team. The physical team works to design, accredit, integrate and deliver hosting solutions on either shared or dedicted physical infrastructure. The selected candidate will focus foremost on the security aspect of the solution, but will be involved in other efforts as well.
