Job Description:

Java Developer

Location: Fairfax, Va

Longterm Arena Technical, LLC position on site with client

Must be a greencard holder or U.S. Citizen

Will perform software development and unit testing tasks in support of the sustainment of a large web-based application. Work with a team of software professionals to correct defects and develop new functionality. Follow detailed lifecycle processes, utilizing best practices for configuration control and development practices. Maintain and extend JAVA J2EE based applications which utilize an MVC framework, an Oracle database, and a Resin application server.
Required:
Bachelor's degree required - 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Knowledge of software lifecycle processes (CMMI).
5 yrs + JAVA/J2EE programming.
Solid Spring/Hibernate expeience.
Experience in the following areas is a plus: Progress 4GL. Oracle. Resin. Subversion, Tapestry.
