Job Description: We are seeking a Lead Senior Software Engineer (LSSE) for a full time position in Washington, DCo The Lead Senior Software Engineer (LSSE) shall have at minimum a bachelor’s degree and at least seven (7) years of continuous work experience, within the past ten (10) years, developing web applications. The LSSE shall possess professional IT certifications from an accredited certification program, comparable to at minimum either - Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP), Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD), or MCSD .NET certified. Certifications such as Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP), in addition to the foregoing list, may be favorably considered. o The LSSE candidate shall be experienced through the following life cycle phases of development:planning, design, coding/development, implementation and maintenance all within the context ofsoftware solutions. o The LSSE candidate shall have expert knowledge and use of: the Visual Studio .NET toolset, configuration of the .NET framework, developing and deploying web services, configuring and assessing Internet Information Server (IIS), and developing and writing applications design and configuration documents at a proficient level. The LSSE shall also have demonstrated practical experience writing .NET solutions in C#, Visual Basic, ASP.NET, XML, XSL and C++. C# can be substituted for C++, if no C++ experience. o The LSSE shall be able to work independently, have excellent client interaction as well as excellent oral and writing skills.
