Job Description: Application Performance Testing EngineerLocation: Fairfax, VA Longterm Contract position Must be a U.S. citizen The Application Performance Test Engineer is expected to script use cases for automated performance testing using the HP LoadRunner product, run/monitor performance tests, as well as update technical documentation in accordance project and government requirements documents. The subcontractor personnel will support the Life Cycle process; update all relevant lifecycle technical support documents, applicable lifecycle modules of the Wiki and/or any other support documentation as required. Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree with three years of hands-on Information Technology experience. Labor Description: Responsible for the development, execution and maintenance of LoadRunner automated tests. Primary responsibilities will be to record and/or script the test to be performed against the application, run and monitor the load generator tests, and analyze and provide reports on scenario results. Will work closely with the multiple teams to develop and review performance scenarios. The candidate will demonstrate strong independent problem solving, troubleshooting, analytical and conceptual skills; able to manage multiple tasks and meet scheduled dates. Must be able to adapt in a rapid changing environment, a fast learner and self-starter. Excellent written and communication skills and can work independently and well within groups.
