Job Description: We are seeking a Cable Technician for a temp-to-perm position in Clarksville, VAMust be a US Citizen and be able to obtain a TS clearance Job Description: This is an entry level position. Candidate must have working knowledge of Infrastructure cabling, knowledge of Data Center operations. Proficient skills in trouble shooting and repair of all media’s of fiber and copper cabling, Use of both copper and fiber test equipment and ability to work at elevated heights up to 15’. Cabling certifications a plus but not required ·ÔWork in a professional environment and present a professional appearance ·ÔHave an eye for detail and take pride in work ·ÔMeet work load requirements in a fast paced environment ·ÔWork with limited direction and as a team player ·ÔWork off hour shifts as work load warrants ·ÔWork weekends and overtime as work load warrants ·ÔWork in dimly lit spaces and differentiate cable pairs ·ÔObtain Top Secret clearance ·ÔHave working knowledge of computers and programs such as excel, word, outlook ·ÔLift equipment up to 50 lbs ·ÔWork at low elevations
