Job Description: JOB TITLE: C# / .Net DeveloperDESCRIPTION: We are looking for a talented C# / .Net Developer for a 12 month plus contract opportunity in downtown Washington D.C. The selected individual will have 2-5years experience in design and implementation of applications using Microsofttechnologies (VisualBasic, ASP, C# / .Net, SQL Server), development usingVisualStudio, Mapping business requirements into business logic layer and databaseschema, and experience in the deployment of applications to end-users. Extra emphasis on C# Development.. Additional desired qualifications this candidate will possess are a solidunderstanding of Rational Unified Process (RUP) methodology and practices, UnifiedModeling Language (UML); creation of UML sequence diagrams and class interactiondiagrams. Candidates must be MCSD qualified US citizens with the ability to obtain an85-P Trust Person clearance, and able to work fulltime onsite with core hours of9:30 to 4:30 Mon-Fri in downtown Washington, DC. Descriptive: The VisualBasic/.NET Developer is the person who implements the software coderequirements and/or design for a VisualBasic project. The VisualBasic/.NETDeveloper's responsibilities include: Participate in internal technical meetings. Understand project scope and requirements, and contribute to their creationfrom a technical perspective. Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems (considering computerequipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results). Instruct, direct, and check the work of other programming personnel. Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Develop software applications using "best practices," such as design reviews,configuration management, requirement base-lining, and/or other components of theRational Unified Process. Analyze and revise existing system logic difficulties and documentation. Plan, organize, and have control of database systems. Formulate and define system scope and objectives. Explain technical concepts in non-technical terms.
