Job Description: Test Automation EngineerContract - possible through 2012 Location: Fairfax, VA Must be a U.S. Citizen seeking an automation test engineer to join a team of diverse and qualified individuals. The candidate will demonstrate strong independent problem solving, trouble shooting and analytical skills and be able to manage multiple tasks and meet scheduled dates. Must have excellent written and communication skills and be comfortable working independently and within groups. Core responsibilities: - Responsible for the development, execution and maintenance of Quick Test Pro automated tests. - Manage asset dependencies and versions - Manage tests and their resources (actions, function libraries, object repositories, recovery scenarios, data table files, and environments variables) - Integrating Quick Test Pro with Quality Center - Review and analyze requirements for automated testability - Develop automated test scripts for the regression test suite - Schedule and run tests, collect, analyze, and share results - Report defects - Link tests to project requirements - Provide automated testing assistance within the test team Qualification/Labor Requirements: * Education Requirements: 5 years with Bachelor's years with Master's 0 years with Ph.D. * 4+ years of recent, formal testing experience * 2+ years of test automation experience with Quick Test Pro and Quality Center * Proficiency in source control systems, Programming skills, Expert knowledge of QA Methodology, highly organized and detail-oriented * Must be a self-starter, be able to be productive with minimal supervision, and must value self-learning. ** Must be US Citizen **
