Job Title: ITIL Service Management Expert
Clearance Required: DoD Secret Clearance
Job Description:
Primary responsibilities will include, but not limited to, ensuring process integration across ITIL process areas, documenting tooling requirements, development / refinement of process, procedures and work instructions as well as supervising and mentoring a team of ITIL process practitioners and tool implementation experts to ensure technologies will support ITIL processes, procedures and work instructions. Will identify and document training requirements and will function as an onsite project coordinator. Provide project status reports and identify risks as necessary. Management responsibilities will include managing sub-contractors and prime contractor relationships. Establishing performance goals and conducting periodic performance reviews.
Experience Requirements:
Must have real-world ITSM implementation experience and broad understanding of BMC and HP tool set capabilities. Extensive experience documenting processes, procedures and work instructions as well as translating processes and procedures into tool requirements. ITIL v2 SM and ITIL V3 Expert certified.
The ITSM Service Management Expert must have a minimum of ten (10) years experience with three (3) of the last five (5) years as a consultant.
Certifications: ITIL V2 Service Manager or ITIL V3 Expert certified
Education Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related discipline and appropriate commercial technical certification.
