Job Description: We are looking for 3 Data Architects with TeraData Experience for a 12 month plus contract (expected duration 12-24 months) in with a large commercial banking client in Richmond, VA. Multiple positions, including senior Data Architect/Strategist/ Modeler with substantial mortgage industry and systems knowledge and experience. Opportunity to support a diversified financial services firm to in the development of critical data infrastructure. Project requires candidates to offer strategic insight and guidance in all aspects of the engagement. Experience working with and knowledge of large servicing systems and core banking systems is a requirement for all positions and is especially critical for those candidates wishing to be considered for the data architect and data strategy positions. The ideal candidates will display in depth experience in either Data Modelingor Data analytics.Overall Required Skills 10 years of Data Modeling TeraData Experience Must have financial industry background, preferably credit card and mortgage industry. Data Architect requirements -10 years experience as a Data Architect - Designed and worked with data feeds from mortgage information data sources, specifically working with Countrywide and/or Bank of America and Fiserv system in a mainframe MVS/VMS environment - Designed and worked with entity relationship models - Provide strategy in regard to data architecture planning - Performed integration with mortgage financial systems data feeds with other banking systems - Considerable work with manipulating flat files data feeds and creating data batch loads and understanding of working in OLTP and OLAP environments - Banking data warehouse experience - Terradata experience - BS in CS or equivalent Data Modeler Requirements - 10 years experience as a Data Modeler - Modeled data from data feeds from mortgage information data sources, specifically working with Countrywide and/or Bank of America and Fiserv system in a mainframe VMS/MVS environment - Performed risk modeling using analytic tools from Terradata - Provide strategy in regards to data analytics planning - Extensive experience in financial data analytics - Considerable work with analyzing flat files data feeds and understanding of working in OLTP and OLAP environments - Banking data warehouse experience a plus - BS in CS or equivalent Preferred Skills Database Certifications Citizenship is preferred but not required Experience with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac or any large servicing companies or servicing system providers are desirable but not required.
