Job Description: Job Title: Communications ManagerClearance Required: DoD Secret Clearance Job Description: The Communications Manager is a supervisory role managing a staff of 5 consisting of employees and sub-contractors. The Communications Manager will develop and deliver a comprehensive Communication Plan that supports MCEITS and E-ITSMClassified IT services efforts. The Communication Plan shall include the following components at a minimum: Criteria that support the Project Charter goals and vision; Identification of key stakeholders and target audiences as target groups; Definition of key messages and determination of the most appropriate communication media types per target audience; Communication type and frequency; Appropriate format, knowledge, attitude, behavior and training per target group; Alignment of MCEITS, SONIC, and EITSM efforts and success criteria and metrics per target group. Experience Requirements: Demonstrable experience in developing and executing large communication plans and strategies in support of organizational change efforts is required. Candidates should be prepared to provide an example of a previous communications plan that they have personally developed and executed. Management duties will include establishing performance targets and conducting periodic performance reviews. Requires 10+ years total experienceITIL experience strongly preferred. Organizational development and organizational behavior experience strongly preferred.7+ years related work experience. Education Requirements: BS Degree or equivalent experience in corporate communications and/or organizational development strongly desired
