Job Description: Location: Boston, Massachusetts 02494The C#/ ASP.Net developer will Develop cost-effective information technology solutions by creating new and modifying existing software applications that are more complex with full competency. Coordinates with users to determine requirements. Reviews systems under development and related documentation. Creates more complex prototypes. Codes, tests, debugs, documents and implements more complex software applications. May coordinate activities of the project team and assist in monitoring project schedules and costs. Typically requires four to five years of related experience. Will be involved in the architectural design, development, and maintenance of products for web-based customer solutions software in the health care coding and reimbursement field. This is a responsible position which is focused on development and maintenance for products of significant size, scope, and complexity. Technical Skills: - Demonstrated skills in web application development using SQL Server databases and .NET technologies including C#, ASP.NET. - Thorough understanding of software development processes and procedures. - Experience in object oriented software architecture and design. - Experience generating XML and/or HTML directly from SQL Server Non-Technical Skills: - Background in healthcare coding, billing and reimbursement. -Strong analytical and problem solving skills. - Ability to quickly understand and articulate technical information and product concepts. -A good understanding of formal software development practices and procedures. - Clearly communicate with programmers and less-technical business partners, both verbally and in writing. - Must be able to work independently and prioritize work effectively, as well as to function as an effective team member in a local and virtual team development environment. - Ability to organize, prioritize and work under time constraints. - Ability to handle strict delivery deadlines for assigned tasks. - Experience developing tools and processes to validate and format raw data from new and changing third party data sources for import to SQL Server
