Job Title: Project Scheduler

Job Description:

Candidate will have the following job responsibilities on the VA SAM contract:
1. Perform analysis of project schedules and provide assessment, impact, and recommendations
2. Assisting in development, implementation, and maintenance of integrated master schedule
3. Assisting in preparing responses to internal and external communications regarding scheduling matters
4. Assisting in Earned Value Management calculation or reporting using various tools and techniques
5. Supporting internal and external reporting and program oversight requirements
6. Providing program, schedule monitoring, and control for the Agency's Program Office
7. Performing or assisting schedule and program tracking
8. Developing and tracking program metrics
9. Tracking timeline and milestone accomplishments
10. Assessing program and project status
11. Assisting in developing, implementing, and maintaining work break down structures
12. Develop vertical and horizontal task dependencies
13. Provide Critical Path analysis for performance management
14. Provide health metrics on schedule mechanics and performance
15. Interface with control account managers and integrated project team leads.
16. Support risk review board activities and provide oversight to ensure that schedule-related information is properly reflected in risk mitigation plans.

Experience Requirements:

Microsoft Project and other industry tools for project scheduling for various project types
Advanced skills in Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel and PowerPointEarned Value Management (EVM) concepts and processesGeneral program management skills

Requires 10-15 years experience.

Education Requirements:

1. Bachelors Degree2. Masters Degree preferred.
