Description:
Our client is a growing technical services company and requires a competent Payroll/Tax/Customer Support for a temp-to-perm position. The ideal work location is in their Plano, TX office.
This is an ideal opportunity for individuals with solid financial acumen and people skills to become part of a growing technical services company. The right candidates will have the capability to quickly identify and clarify financially oriented business user issues, as they relate to the companies web-based payroll service product, and use their knowledge of the product to either resolve the issue or escalate it to appropriate personnel.
Previous customer service experience or training is a critical soft skill, and previous experience with payroll systems or payroll services. In addition, the right candidate should be a power user when it comes to MS Excel. Candidates must have excellent oral communication skills as most of the work involves supporting the the company's clients over the phone. Most of this phone work involves dicerning questions/thoughts/enhancements related to the companies payroll service software, so you need to be alert for the differences. If you're smart, have strong people skills, detail oriented, and can remain cool, calm, and collected then you're a strong candidate. The pay plan includes a base and bonus potential as well.
The ideal candidate would have the following skills: Payroll and/or tax experience Interest in working towards a career in finance/payroll Technical skills (such as light programming, web, software experience) Customer service background with great phone skills
