Job Description: Standard Job DescriptionÔ Prepares, develops and coordinates the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives. Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality. Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts. Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas.ÔSpecific Job DescriptionÔ Successful candidate will perform as the project master planner for a complex federal information technology support contract with multiple tasks. The contract will provide support full life cycle IT support for a federal agency with a nationwide infrastructure providing IT services to over 5500 users. The master planner will provide shared services to all program / project managers via MS Project. The master planner will be personally responsible for populating and keeping up to date an integrated master program plan and schedule. The position reports directly to the program manager and deputy. Typical MinimumsÔ Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level. Ô Required skillsÔ Must be a US CitizenStrong Multi-TaskerDegree in business, math, science or engineering from an accredited collegeAt least 5 years experience as master planner / scheduler for a federal or DoD IT support contract especially in IT servicesExperience managing or leading various projects and interfacing with the many functional support and customer organizationsITIL foundation certifiedAble to obtain federal agency security clearance Ô Desired skillsÔ Computer Science or Computer Engineering 4 year degree. At least 7 years experience in master, intermediate scheduling and planning/managementITIL v3 intermediate certifiedExcellent work ethic, leadership, and management skills. Self starter, team player, confident communicator before customers and executive audiences or peersNRC or DoD Secret clearance or equivalentNRC Customer experience This is a key position in a IT support proposal.
