Description:
Standard Job DescriptionÔ Develop and implement program quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses. Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards. Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical systems. Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met. Recommends corrective actions, dispositions and modifications.Ô
Specific Job DescriptionÔ The person will provide overall Program Quality Assurance and ITIL Continuous Service Improvement within LM program across functions, non-technical/technical groups, and subcontractors; all in accordance to NRC federal standards and ITIL frameworkThe person in this position will be responsible for establishing processes for continuous service improvement and lean processes for program initiatives. Ensure compliance and accountability for service assurance. Develop and implement quality and continuous improvement programs to minimize risks to the government. They will provide guidance and survey, analyze and address user requirements, information infrastructure issues and assistance to the functional managers in establishing, implementing appropriate processes within their functional areas. This person will direct the migration from the existing environment to the ITIL process and tailor these processes to meet NRC specific requirements and fully leverage available supporting tool suites and electronic workflow and escalation capabilities. This person will also work to progressively improve the maturity of the ITIL/CMMI process execution over time. This individual will lead process improvement activities in accordance with Lean Six Sigma for the programMain responsibility will be for quality assurance planning and implementation; deliverable tracking; ITIL Assurance planning, transformation, audits; ISO planning and certifications, Continual Service Improvement (centralized dashboard reporting, proactive reporting, general reporting); Lean Six sigma Events; on-going CSI analytics/actionsWill have experience working with the many functional organizations and support groups within LM, the customer, and other service providers required to complete the customer service management functions for an Enterprise Service Delivery Contract.Will support development and delivery of all applicable contract documents, LM internal program documents, reports, customized processes/procedures, mitigate/investigate issues, and other tasks/activities required to support successful execution of all identified requirements and responsibilities across all functional and program areasWill support the delivery of services that continuously meet NRC and LM specified performance standards, deliverables, and Service Level Agreements are continuously met in entirety. Will communicate and work directly/indirectly with the customer and with all NRC Program functional areas and other service providers to meet these standards.
Typical MinimumsÔ Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 10 years of professional experience; or 8 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an emerging authority.
