Clearance Required:ÔÔCurrent SSBI, TS/SCI Clearance, CI Poly

Certifications Required:ÔSecurity+ Certification or equivalent

Job Description:
Work to be performed will be C#, Sharepoint, ASP .Net, web application development and visualization in support of the Joint Task Force-Global Network Operations. In addition, unique or specialized software engineering/development solutions may be required. Specifically, this position provides primary ASP .Net, Web Development, Database Maintenance, Management, and Systems Software Engineering and Web Based Support, executed in real time in accordance with JTFGNO DoD mission requirements. It should be noted that most of the work will be maintenance and enhancement vs. new development.

This Developer will also maintain Government World Wide Web (WWW) sites, both classified and unclassified, that provide linkage to other information assurance program information, and proposes and develops (for Government approval) lead-in web pages categorizing information on a functional basis to ensure the satisfaction of user requirements.

Background:
The Joint Task Force - Global Network Operations has a requirement for continued Joint Task Force for Global Network Operations. Recent presidential directives have introduced a new series of mandates upon the US Army, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Joint Task Force-Global Network Operations Center (JTF-GNO), specifically in terms of interagency coordination and engagement with the Counter Intelligence (CI)/Defense Industrial Base (DIB). First, where interagency coordination is concerned, the JTF-GNO is compelled to connect to other operations centers under the rubric of the National Cyber Security Center, a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) entity building a collaborative structure within the federal Government. The JTF-GNO will then be required to expand its collaborative reach to an unprecedented number of stakeholders, requiring additional personnel to support this increased mission. Additionally, the DIB represents a new National priority where the JTF-GNO must engage with (potentially) many hundreds of defense contractors in a structured information sharing capacity. Not only will the DIB share threat indicators and report incidents, the JTF-GNO must clear and distribute proprietary (DoD) threat information useful to the industry partners in preventing attacks, malware, incidents, etc. While information sharing is not necessarily new for the JTF-GNO, the above initiatives place much more emphasis and rigor on a process long overlooked by other organizational priorities. This Developer will perform in a capacity that supports the traditional spirit and intent of the JTF-GNO mission, accommodating a heightened need for information sharing and the exchange of operational information.
