Job Description: Requirements Analyst EngineerFairfax, VA Arena Technical, LLC salaried position on site with our client long term contract U.S. Citizenship required Seeking a skilled Requirements Engineer to elicit, document and assist in decomposing requirements for a large-scale software development program using structured development methodologies. Candidate will work directly with users and customer representatives to assist users with and clarifying business process elements, systems requirements, and user software requirements. Create use cases and sets of requirements for various functional components, correlating them and documenting them. Analyze, decompose, further clarify and publish the use cases and requirements set Participate in all phases of the software lifecycle in areas of requirements, scope changes, and documentation of requirements and use cases Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Requirements: • In-depth knowledge of software systems' development lifecycle particularly requirements processes • Minimum of 2 years experience of requirements gathering, definition, and development • Minimum of 2 years experience with an automated requirement management tools like Quality Center, Caliber, DOORS, or Requisite Pro • Minimum of 1 year of MS Office, MS Access, and MS Project experience • Minimum of 1 year developing use-cases with UML • Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work independently, handle stressful situations, prioritize workloads and schedules, and solve problems. • US citizen eligible for a secret clearance Assets: · Travel industry experience · Perform work as a requirements analyst for a CMMI Level 3 or above environment Education Requirements: The candidate must meet the following education and/or related experience requirements: · 6 years of hands-on requirements gathering, definition, and development experience · Bachelor's degree with 2 years of hands-on requirements gathering, definition, and development experience · Master's degree with 0 years of experience
