Job Description: Seeking a Cisco Network Engineer for a full time position in Fort Shafter, HI.Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain an active Secret clearance. Responsibilities Performs design, installation, troubleshooting, and support of LAN/MAN/WAN hardware, software, and applications. Installs and configures hardware, such as routers, switches, hubs, and network monitoring devices. Maintains cable plans and architecture, communications transmission lines, and all other attached devices. Recommends acquisition of network supplies and equipment. Defines, designs, and develops system requirements. Assesses architecture and current hardware limitations, defines and designs complex system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system. Analyzes and resolves difficult and complicated program support deficiencies. Conducts independent technical investigations in systems design. Coordinates and consolidates design efforts on major projects. May provide work leadership for lower level employees, across multiple teams. Required Certifications: Must have IA Certification: CND-IS (SSCP or CEH) ·Cisco: Cisco Certified Network Engineer (CCNA)
