Job Description:

ATR is seeking permanent-minded candidates for the position of Project Manager for one of our clients. This individual will be accountable for all aspects of planning and delivering IT-related projects, working in conjunction with their client's (primarily within the Federal Government). The associated responsibilities span planning and managing budget, scope, work plans, resources, client relationships, deliverable creation, issues, project communications and overall delivery on time and on budget. 1-2 days a week in DC and 3 days in Arlington, Va.

We are seeking a Project Manager with practical SDLC and requirements analysis experience in small Web Development efforts that have served government customers. The candidate that can work with the business in a heavy client-facing role understanding their domain space, translating their functional software requirements and working with Development teams to meet user's application needs related to CUSTOM software and systems development, enhancements and bug fixing.

The ideal candidate will have some ERP (SAP, Deltek, Peoplesoft, etc.) OR some major, client-server Enterprise application experience. Facility Management software OR Enterprise Asset Management or Asset Management Planning (EAM or AMP) is highly desired (Maximo, Facility Center, or JD Edwards/Oracle facility modules) 5-7 years working experience and a Bachelor's degree are required.

Responsible for working directly with the client system owner/s (executives, business users, stakeholders etc.) supporting their daily operations to get a handle on how their current systems work today (identifying gaps). Use their existing data and systems, and document their desired software requirements for change requests to develop future requirements so that the development Project Manager and development teams can translate the requirements to build, bug fix and enhance successful applications.

Responsibilities:
*Assist Program Manager in scoping and costing RFP/RFQ responses
*Create and maintain project plan that is based on contracted scope of ÔÔwork, timeline and budget
*Define and manage resource needs across the life of project
*Manage assigned project resources and their delivery of work product
*Oversee, and participate in as appropriate, deliverable creation ÔÔrelative to requirements, design, test plans and/or deployment plans
*Act as a point of coordination and translation between the client’s ÔÔbusiness needs and the technical development effort
*Work with the development team to ensure delivery of application ÔÔcomponents
*Manage resolution of project issues
*Track and report on project status
*Facilitate client meetings
*Manage and grow the client relationship
*Ensure appropriate and ongoing communication to the client and our ÔÔclient’s management team
*Successfully deliver required solution on time and on budget, while ÔÔmaintaining positive client relationships and a good morale within the ÔÔteam

Experience & Capability Requirements:
*At least 3 years of relevant IT project management experience, Ôpreferably in the Federal space
*Experience supporting or leading all phases of the systems ÔÔÔdevelopment life cycle
·Strong interpersonal skills and previous experience working with ÔÔclients
*Strong communication, writing and organizational skills
*Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, and Ôpotentially multiple projects
*Ability to work in a matrixed team environment
*Experience with MS Office Suite, including MS Project

Project Management (PMP) training and certification is desirable -ÔÔdifferentiator.
