Job Description: Requirements Analyst/Systems EngineerThese are long-term positions with our company, teamed with a Disabled Vetran Owned firm, to support users at a govenment-owned facility in Ft Meade Md. Expertise should fall within the areas of Information Technology (e.g., Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design, Architecture, Implementation, Information Systems Integration, Software Development Methodologies, Security Engineering, Communications and Network Systems Management), or a specific functional area (e.g., finance, logistics, and operations research). This position meets with both Customer and Development Teams to identify, assess, document, and review business requirements. Ensure business requirement meet organization goals and objectives as well as meet community standards, also ensure a mutual understanding of the mission while documenting the requirements for review and tracking by JTF-GNO leadership. Participates in data analysis call as it pertains to issues and gaps. Creates and maintains all applicable documentation translates business requirement to functional requirement and support IT design questions against the requirements. Lead the development of Business Process Mapping with the ability to test and validate project requirement. Ability to analyze and write Scope Change requests as related to changes to requirements. With minimal direction, provides support, analysis and research into exceptionally complex engineering problems, and processes relating to systems engineering. Serves as an interface on executive-level project teams providing direction, interpretation and alternatives. Thinks independently and demonstrates exceptional written and oral communications skills. Applies system engineering by guiding the successful completion of major programs. Develops solutions which require ingenuity and creativity, while exercising considerable latitude in determining objectives and the desired solutions associated with the assignments. ” Recent presidential directives have introduced a new series of mandates upon the US Army, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Joint Task Force-Global Network Operations Center (JTF-GNO), specifically in terms of interagency coordination and engagement with the Counter Intelligence (CI)/Defense Industrial Base (DIB). First, where interagency coordination is concerned, the JTF-GNO is compelled to connect to other operations centers under the rubric of the National Cyber Security Center, a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) entity building a collaborative structure within the federal Government. The JTF-GNO will then be required to expand its collaborative reach to an unprecedented number of stakeholders, requiring additional personnel to support this increased mission. Additionally, the DIB represents a new National priority where the JTF-GNO must engage with (potentially) many hundreds of defense contractors in a structured information sharing capacity. Not only will the DIB share threat indicators and report incidents, the JTF-GNO must clear and distribute proprietary (DoD) threat information useful to the industry partners in preventing attacks, malware, incidents, etc. While information sharing is not necessarily new for the JTF-GNO, the above initiatives place much more emphasis and rigor on a process long overlooked by other organizational priorities. Patriot LLC personnel perform in a capacity that supports the traditional spirit and intent of the JTF-GNO mission, accommodating a heightened need for information sharing and the exchange of operational information.
