Job Description: Job Title: Lead Field TechnicianLocation: Norfolk, VA Clearance Required: Top Secret Clearance Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) Job Description: Provide hands on technical support for Remote Operating Gear (ROG), Motor Operated Valves (MOV), and Auxiliary equipment. Support includes but is not limited to the performance of normal checks, inspections, assessments, grooms, repairs, troubleshooting, technical oversight, casualty repairs and performance of other technical duties as required. Experience Requirements: 1. Completion of applicable U.S. Navy school(s) covering Remote Operating Gear (ROG), Motor Operated Valves (MOV), and Auxiliary equipment . 2. High School Diploma or GED, plus technical/vocational/military training. 3. Associates Degree preferred. 4. NAVSEA certified for copper and Fiber Optic connectors is a plus. 1. Minimum of five (5) years hands on experience in the operation, repair, maintenance, and assessment of US Naval Marine Remote Operating Gear, Motor Operated Valves, and auxiliary equipment. 2. Must possess a working knowledge of Navy assessment programs, visit processes, and reporting methods. 3. Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and control schematics. 4. Ability to utilize current instrumentation for diagnosing equipment. 5. Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite. Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED, plus technical/vocational/military training.Associates Degree preferred.
