Job Description: Pricing Anayst - LeadChantilly, VA Clearance Preferred Must be a U.S. Citizen - clearance desired POSITION SUMMARY: Reviews requests for proposals and acts as senior level authority to identify and assist proposal team in developing complex price/cost proposal efforts. RESPONSIBILITIES: ·ÔAble to develop sophisticated and complex cost proposals from beginning to end. ·ÔWorks with internal organizations on activities related to cost proposal pricing, manpower forecasting, and price-to-win analyses. ·ÔAble to create and monitor multiple cost proposals. ·ÔReviews and resolve issues affecting compliance with corporate pricing policies/guidelines, customer requirements, and underlying Federal, state and/or local regulations. ·ÔProvides accurate price and cost data for proposals. ·ÔProvides accurate compliance with solicitation requirements. ·ÔProvides pricing strategy guidance to clients. ·ÔProvides creative input from knowledge of industry best practices and most current developments in pricing. ·ÔProvides regular reporting to senior management on pricing issues. ·ÔAnalyzes estimates against previous cost experience and recommends adjustments. ·ÔAssists in the design, implementation, management, and monitoring of pricing reporting systems to meet company requirements. ·ÔParticipates in establishing short and long-term pricing objectives consistent with organizational strategy. ·ÔProvides team leadership and guidance to less experienced staff. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, 7 - 9 years of related experience in finance or project management and knowledge of cost/schedule control systems. Must have previous government contracts or cost experience - FAR, DFAR. PREFERENCES: ·ÔSecurity Clearance ·ÔExpert knowledge of Microsoft Excel ·ÔAdequate knowledge of Microsoft Word Ability to work on computer for long periods and communicate with individuals by telephone, email, and face to face. Some travel may be required.
