Job Description: Job Title: Contract Closeout SpecialistLocation: Suffolk, VA Clearance Required: None Job Description: This is a temporary position for 6 to 12 months.- Development of closeout correspondence and finalization of contract and subcontract terms. - Analyze project accounting & billing data.- Process final invoice/voucher(s), and de-obligate or provide modification of funds. - The Contract Closeout Specialist will also serve as primary customer point of contact on closeout questions, and assist audits. Breakdown of Essential Job Responsibilities: 60% Preparation of contract closeout analyses and billings. 20% Interface with customers on closeout billings & supporting documentation. 20% Research & interface with contracts and operations staff on closeout questions and issues. Experience Requirements: - Must have extensive experience in performing contract closeout procedures with all contract types (CPFF, T&M, LH, FFP, SAP). - Must have advanced Microsoft Word & Excel skills. - Must have a working knowledge of the FAR. - Must have experience interacting with Contracting Officers/Specialists, the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and/or other oversight agencies. - Must possess strong communication skills (written & oral), ability to problem-solve, be self motivated and work as an effective member of a fast-paced, high volume team. - Experience with Oracle & ESM-based financial systems is highly desired.- Must be a United States Citizen.- Prefer an active Secret security clearance. Education Requirements: Associates Degree with 4 years of directly related experience or High School Diploma with 6 years of directly related experience.
