Description:
We are seeking Federal Financial Management (Advisory) professionals focused on implementing process improvement solutions that strengthen accountability, promote effective risk management, and deliver quality service to Federal agencies and departments, which will make a difference in their ability to fulfill their important missions.
Financial Management team members identify, assess, analyze and mitigate some of the most significant risks of Federal Government agencies. The risks will be financial, operational and compliance-based in nature; however, project work takes on numerous forms. Project work may include involvement with internal control reviews, risk assessments, business process mapping projects, or financial statement audits of Federal Government agencies - limited to controls-focused support work.
Skills Preferred: The ability to implement financial and process improvement solutions and analyze financial/accounting environments for: *ÔAudit readiness and remediation *ÔBudget performance and integration *ÔProperty and asset management *ÔGrants and credit management *ÔFraud investigation and recovery *ÔFinancial reporting and controls *ÔForensic accounting
Considerable experience obtaining, processing, and analyzing large financial data sets. Strong ability to communicate, work in groups, build consensus and present standard industry practices/point of view effectively
Demonstrated experience identifying and addressing client needs: actively participating in client discussions and meetings; communicating a broad range of Firm services; managing engagements including preparing concise, accurate documents and balancing project economics management with the occurrence of unanticipated issues.

Position/Program RequirementsKnowledge Preferred: Considerable experience Advising Federal agencies such as DHS, FBI, Courts, and/or DoJ from a Financial perspective. Familiarity with requirements of key Federal laws, Presidential directives, National strategies, strategic plans and sector specific plans preferred.
Minimum Years of Experience Necessary: 1-8 years Minimum Degree(s) and Certification(s) Required: Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree required. Preferred concentration: Accounting, Finance, Management, Government, Policy or Criminal Justice. Graduate level degree preferred.
Security Investigation: Recommended applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Additional Information: prior experience in Federal Financial Management (hands-on budget/finance experienced including budget formulation and/or budget execution, such as budget management/analysis/monitoring) Knowledge of OMB A-123 Federal laws, regulation and standards required Strong business and financial acumen Ability to design/implement financial/process improvement/reporting solutions Ability to assess and analyze budget processes and environments Ability to demonstrate coaching and monitoring of Associate level team members Strong written and Verbal communication skills.
