Job Description:

Our client is a fast-growing software development company that specializes in software integration and development to seemlessly and successfully deliver industry-standard software. They have a five year Prime contract as the sole source. They are seeking permanent-minded candidates to join them in building their client's future with Asset Management Planning and Facilities Management Software applications.

We are seeking a Junior to Mid-level Business Analyst that can work and gather the Business user's needs and gaps with their current software. The ideal candidate will have some ERP or Enterprise software experience (Facility Management, Enterprise Asset Management OR Asset Management Planning software are differentiators, but not required).

3+ years working experience and a Bachelor's degree are required.

Responsible for working with Lead Project Managers that are upgrading new versions of Enterprise software with the Client system-owner supporting their daily operations and facilitating remediation of new production-ready applications before they go live, and supporting existing production applications. Ensuring that the whole process runs smoothly. Managing the moving parts of over 5 different production applications in a PM support role. Strong SDLC knowledge needed.

No travel required.


Formal Requirement
The Business Analyst will work with the Project Manager and development resources to deliver IT solutions to a Government Agency. This individual will be responsible for developing functional and technical requirements and supporting all phases of the systems development life cycle as it relates to successfully delivering an application solution that meets those requirements.

Successful candidates will have a strong background in requirements gatheringand management, the translation of those requirements into technical specifications, the creation of project technical documentation, test plan development and testing support. Ideally the candidate will have a demonstrated track record of success in applying these skills to deliver technical solutions to the Federal government.

Responsibilities:
·ÔWork with client to capture and document business requirements
·ÔTranslate business requirements into design documentation/technical specifications
·ÔAct as a liaison to the development team to ensure their understanding of the requirements
·ÔCreate test plan, including use cases, test scripts and acceptance criteria
·ÔSupport all phases of testing
·ÔCreate and maintain specified project documentation
·ÔWork with the client throughout life cycle to manage requirements traceability
·ÔWork with Project Manager to resolve issues and ensure successful delivery

Experience & Capability Requirements:
·Ô3+ years experience as a business/requirements analyst in the IT arena
·ÔDemonstrated track record in supporting all systems development life cycle (DLC) phases described above
·ÔStrong interpersonal skills and previous experience working with clients
·ÔStrong communication, writing and organizational skills
·ÔAbility to work independently or in a team environment
·ÔDemonstrated ability to effectively balance priorities on multiple projects
·ÔExperience and comfort with relevant tool sets such as:
oÔMS Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel and Visio
oÔSnag It or a comparable screen mock-up tool
oÔAdobe PDF

Additional Requirements:
·ÔBachelor’s degree
·ÔU.S. Citizenship or Green Card
·ÔProject Management and/or Business Analysis training desirable
Knowledge and experience with 508 regulations desirable
