Job Description: Job Description:The candidate will need to demonstrate expert use of the following skills: •Ability to install, configure, and support Microsoft Project Server environments, MS Project Server (2007 and/or 2010) and MS Project as well as SharePoint 2010. •Ability to install, manage project, analyze projects and produce reports on Project Server, MS Project, Project management/control (Schedule, Cost/Earned Value, Risk). •Ability to install, configure, and support SharePoint 2010 Administration (managing content, configuration web parts and other functionality, assisting users with issues) as they relate to Project Server 2010 and/or Project Web Access sites and resources. •Experience with Installation/Configuration and administration of SQL Server 2008 in both Clustered/Non-Clustered environment. •Strong understanding of domain security groups and setting permissions regarding access to server and particularly Project and SharePoint server resources. •Migration experience in migrating Project Server environments between Domains and/or Project Server Versions. •Ability to work with other team members in a MS Project/SharePoint environment to resolve highly technical problems and issues. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: •The System Administrator shall be able to perform basic installation and administrative duties for Microsoft Project Server 2007 and/or 2010. •Microsoft SharePoint 2010 and Project Web Access (PWA) 2010 site administration experience. •Basic duties include, but are not limited to, installation and configuration of Microsoft Project Server 2007 and/or 2010, SharePoint 2007, SharePoint 2010 and SQL 2008. •Establish procedures for user account management, access control management, site template management, and overall site user interface management. •System Administrator possesses 2 years prior experience administering Microsoft SharePoint 2007 and Microsoft Project Server 2007. •Ability to provide input for Project Server related tasks to the program manager, project managers and project management assistants to set up project plans, activities, resources and aggregate them at the program level. •Ability to establish processes for Microsoft Project Server 2010 for adequate resource leveling analysis, schedule and cost evaluation and reporting. •Ability to establish project risk management processes. •Proven knowledge of systems development life cycle methodologies. •Good written and oral communication skills; good interpersonal skills. •Ability to conduct research into server issues and products as required. •Highly self motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail. •Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. •Strong customer service orientation. •Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. •Experience working in an ITIL v2 or v3 environment a plus. Required Qualifications: 2 years prior experience administering Microsoft SharePoint 2007 and Microsoft Project Server 2007. Ability to work independently and as a member of team. Prior Project Server migration experience. •Must have a Bachelor’s Degree •Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust DHS Clearance. •Must work in Herndon, VA
