Job Description: Job Title: Sr. HP TrainerLocation: Dumfries, VA Clearance Required: Secret Clearance Job Description: • Candidate is responsible for developing, documenting, and delivering training classes. • Candidate will work with process and tool SME's to ensure training requirements are met. • Updates training content based on student feedback. • Monitors overall training effectiveness and interacts with customer. • Responsible for developing customized training content based on ITIL processes, procedures and tools. • Responsible for training HP toolsets as deployed in the customer environment (NNM, OMW, OMi) • Strong knowledge and real world experience with ITIL required. • Prefer ITIL V2 Service Manager with real-world implementation experience, instructor background with experience in developing / delivering customized training content. Experience Requirements: • 10-15 years real-world experience in process-oriented positions, implementing or improving processes using ITIL concepts • Extensive experience in NOC environments where ITIL processes (Event Management in particular) are deployed • Developing customized ITIL training content that incorporates the use of NNM, OMW, and OMi • Extensive classroom training experience accompanied by course evaluations • Developing web based training and/or video based training using one of the following technologies: Camtasia, Articulate and/or Captivate • Planning and delivering remote classroom activities to include: Portable lab setup, pre-course delivery site visits, checklists and overall training project planning execution • Leading training engagements to include course development, site prep, delivery, and post-training activities. • Demonstrable experience using the ADDIE course development process. DESIRED: •Past experience running a Help Desk •Past experience working in a Data Center environment •Past experience working in a Network Operations Center (NOC)Desired experience qualifications will not substitute for required experience, but will be strongly considered in combination with required experience credentials Minimum of ITIL V3 Foundation with preferred ITIL V2 Service Manager or V3 Expert certifications. Education Requirements: Masters Degree in Information Technology or related discipline.
