Job Description:
The Customer Relationship Management area serves as the hub for sustainment of IT investments within the NAVAIR community and in other Navy and Government areas. The product area applies knowledge of current IT/IM Department information technology, information methodologies and processes, and analytical methods and techniques to introduce technologies and methodologies/processes into the customer environment.Analyzes project requirements in the areas of business management, financial management, program scheduling, critical path analyses, support requirements, and performs other related analyst/management activities required for successful completion of the task with limited supervision.
The candidate will participate in facilitation and customer interface between the IT/IM Department and designated competencies/PMAs, and must be in accordance with the current IT/IM Customer Relationship Management principles and techniques. The candidate shall serve as customer advocate and liaison between the IT/IM Department, competencies, and and external customers by:1. Applying knowledge of IT enterprise and corporate architecture, tools, techniques and direction to represent the IT/IM Department within customer organizations.2. Serving as a conduit for information relative to Federal, DoD, DoN, and NAVAIR laws, policies, and mandates.3. Supporting the customer with IT related advice and assistance.4. Ensuring that information an data calls are understood and acted upon in a timely manner.5. Evaluating customer IT/IM and related business environment.6. Conceptualizing, documenting, and recommending innovative forward-looking solutions that comply with Navy/NAVAIR IT vision, applying policy and regulations in review and documentation of requirements.7. Manage the Work Acceptance Process using e-Room or the approved IT/IM tool.8. Receiving new requirements.9. Contacting customers via phone and email and sending the IT/IM developed questionnaire.10. Generating agendas and attending weekly Triage Team meetings.11. Generating Alerts and Notification to Division Heads weekly.12. Posting daily/weekly updates to each on-going project.13. Consulting with various product teams within the IT/IM Department to collaborate, define, prepare, and deploy IT solutions that meet customer needs and are compliant with letal and regulatory requirements.14. Supporting strategic planning requirements relative to the integration of It solutions.15. Supporting NAVAIR legacy registration/reduction of all servers, workstations, applications, and other devices as applicable.
Experience Requirements:
8-10 years of related finance or business analysis experience or equivalency.• 1 - 2 years exp with Microsoft Project• Proficient in Microsoft Power Point • Attention to detail plus a high level of ability to organize and analyze data.• Ability to translate data to report and presentation format. • Familiarity with IT assets and systems. Experience with Navy IT a definite plus.Highly desirable skills include an in-depth understanding of an IT/IM or similar technical environment, understanding of DoD and Navy IT policies and directives, and strong understanding of the NAVAIR/NAWC working environment.
Education Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
