Job Title: HP BAC Administrator

The MCEITS center provides application hosting capabilities, enterprise shared services, access to enterprise-wide information, collaboration and information sharing across business and warfighter domains.
The MCEITS program will provide the Marine Corps with a modernized IT-enabled capability for use in enterprise and expeditionary environments. This will include implementation of an IT infrastructure with application, service and data environments. Additionally, MCEITS will deliver an IT infrastructure that can quickly, easily and securely adapt to evolving software, hardware, data, services and management requirements while providing an enhanced enterprise visibility that facilitates greater reuse of IT assets.
Manage , Admin , Install and configure HP BAC Monitoring Suite - BAC , Sitescope , RUM , Diagnostics , BPM and HP OM tools on Multi OS platform
Responsible for executing the Enterprise Monitoring Tools Architecture for performance and service management for all applications and supporting infrastructure
Maintain and support monitoring applications/technology to meet the requirements of the ICCs, operations and development teams and end users.
Manage day-to-day operations and maintenance of deployed tools including patching.
Responsible for creating proactive custom tools, utilities, and reports required to application owners, management and other operations groups.
Work with application owners to fix monitoring for changes to applications.
Work with the Architecture team towards evaluating/on-boarding new tools/technologies.
Unix troubleshooting skills will be an advantage. The successful candidate will provide design input, operational support, user support, and planning function to this critical application for stability, optimal performance, and integration with other tools. Team skills are a must. Willingness and flexibility to provide occasional after hours support as needed. Must be able to establish, maintain, and follow documented processes and procedures.

Bachelors Degree in a Information Systems or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience. 5-7 years of experience in installing , configuring and administering HP BAC Monitoring Tools- BAC , Sitescope , RUM , Diagnostics , BPM and HP OM tools on Multi OS platform. Willing to work in shifts 24x5 and weekend on call. Excellent communication skills required. Ability to work in a team in an onsite environment. Should be familiar with Enterprise Monitoring setup
10-15 years of directly related computer systems analysis and/or programming experience.
Position requires a DoD SECRET clearance.
This position is in Kansas City, MO working with the USMC.
DoD experience is preferred with knowledge of the Marine Corps IT environment.
DoD Secret Security Clearance
CompTIA Security Plus- Have or the ability to obtain within 6 months
Microsoft Windows 2003 or 2008 Server Certifications
Candidate must be willing to achieve necessary certifications required by DoD 8570.
Universal Configuration Management Database (uCMDB), Discovery and Dependency Mapping (DDM), Business Process Monitor (BPM), Performance Insight, Sitescope, BMC Remedy is a plus.
Experience in operating, maintaining, and integrating Operations Manager with Network Node Manager, Performance Insight, Internet Services, and other HP software tools.
Experience working in an enterprise environment.
Familiarity with the DoD Certification and Accreditation process.
