Top Secret SCI Clearance Required (TS/SCI)

Our client has an immediate opening for an Advanced Specialist to join our Contracts team. The position provides an opportunity to enhance the business operations that support some of our nations fundamental defense services. Employees work closely with esteemed clients to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions. The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams, monitoring contract performance to maximize earnings and return on investment. Key Responsibilities
The Advanced Contracts Specialist administers and monitors the performance of government prime contracts and subcontracts. This individual is also responsible for negotiating new business proposals and managing existing company contracts. Employees in this role review contracts and related documents to ensure adherence to company policy, government specifications and requirements, and conformance to the master agreement. The selected candidate must keep a keen eye on our contract obligations and any accompanying adjustments.

Candidates should demonstrate a sophisticated understanding of business operations and investment.† Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply†U.S. Government procurement regulations (FAR, DFARs) is a must.

The Advanced Contracts Specialist must have either a bachelors degree in a related specialty or the equivalent, and a minimum of 6 to 8 years of related experience, or a master's degree with a minimum of six to eight years of related experience. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
