Program Manager

We are looking for a stellar Program Manager. Must be a US Citizen and live within the CONUS. We are not able to offer any sponsorship for this position.

Requirements:

  Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or Life Sciences equivalent work experience.

  
  


• 
  

  AALAS Certification at the LAT level (LAT g, preferred).

  
  


• 
  

  Experience working with Small Animals preferred (mice, rats, ferrets, etc.).

  
  


• 
  

  Able to supervise and assist with necropsy procedures including tissue collection.

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledgeable in collection, verifying facility records, blood/tissue and various fluid samples from the animals.

  
  


• 
  

  Able to supervise and perform various IV, SC, intranasal and intramuscular injections.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience working with infectious disease is preferred. 

  
  


• 
  

  Experience working at a CRO preferred. 

  
  


• 
  

  Experience working with GLP regulations preferred.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience working on murine tumor models preferred.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience managing mouse breeding colonies is preferred.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience managing toxicology studies and/or PK/PD studies is preferred. 

  
  


• 
  

  Experience working in high-containment a plus (ABSL3/SRA).

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Solid organizational and scheduling skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  Experience with project management software tools is a plus.

  Understanding of budgeting, cost analysis, and contract report writing is a preferred.

  Experience working on in vivo projects.
