Job Title: VDI Engineer
Location: Springfield, VA
Eligibility: Candidate must possess an active TS/SCI clearance and be
willing to obtain a CI Poly after starting
Job Description:
-Design and define system architecture for new or existing computer
systems utilizing both on-premises and cloud-based hosting technologies
-Analyze requirements and system architectures to develop system
requirements specifications and resulting design plans
-Administer, operate, manage and maintain components for on-premises and
cloud-based virtualized systems
-Review completion and implementation of system additions and/or
enhancements and make recommendations to management and/or clients
-Provide Tier 3 support for O&M and engineer activities
-Oversee and participate in upgrades of Citrix applications
-Work across teams to aid in implementing several methods for virtual
application delivery to include AppV, AppVolumes, XenApp, SCCM
-Continuous troubleshooting of network and security issues that affect
the VDI user experience
-Aid in the effort to upgrade all AppVolumes Server infrastructure to
the latest version while maintaining availability
