Job Title: UI/UX Designer

Job Location: Remote - Flexible / Off-Hours Availability

Compensation: $70/hr - $90/hr W2

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to evaluate and enhance
Version 3 of its immersive 3D application platform.

Our client is building a next-generation digital world experience that
integrates traditional web interfaces with a gaming-style 3D
environment. The current front end is built using React, and the backend
is built using C#. A gaming development company partnered in building
the 3D world component.

This role will focus on conducting a comprehensive UX review of the
existing platform and delivering structured recommendations to improve
usability, engagement, user flow, and overall application strength. The
selected professional will provide both strategic guidance and practical
design enhancements to optimize the user experience across 2D and 3D
environments.

This is a flexible, remote opportunity designed for a senior-level
designer who can operate independently and deliver high-impact
recommendations.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

UX Evaluation & Optimization

- Conduct a full UX audit of the current Version 3 application.

- Identify usability gaps, navigation inefficiencies, and user
friction points.

- Evaluate onboarding, retention flow, and engagement touchpoints.

- Provide actionable recommendations to improve user journey and
experience.

UI & Design Enhancements

- Recommend improvements to layout structure, information hierarchy,
and visual consistency.

- Enhance component design within the React front-end framework.

- Improve clarity, responsiveness, and accessibility considerations.

- Align visual design standards across web and immersive 3D
components.

3D World Experience Integration

- Evaluate interaction between 2D UI overlays and 3D world
functionality.

- Improve in-world navigation prompts and user feedback mechanisms.

- Recommend engagement improvements and gamification enhancements.

- Ensure intuitive transitions between immersive and traditional
interface elements.

Collaboration & Delivery

- Partner with React front-end developers to ensure feasibility of
design improvements.

- Coordinate with backend teams working in C# environments.

- Present findings and structured enhancement roadmap to leadership.

- Provide prototypes, wireframes, and design documentation as needed.

Requirements:

- 5+ years of professional UI/UX design experience.

- Demonstrated experience designing for React-based web applications.

- Strong portfolio showcasing SaaS, web application, or immersive
platform design.

- Experience conducting UX audits and delivering structured
improvement plans.

- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools.

- Strong understanding of usability principles, interaction design,
and information architecture.

- Experience working directly with software development teams.

Desired Qualifications:

- Experience designing for gaming, interactive, or 3D environments.

- Familiarity with immersive digital worlds or metaverse-style
platforms.

- Experience integrating UI with WebGL or Unity-style 3D frameworks.

- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).

- Experience optimizing user engagement in community-driven platforms.

Education:

- Bachelor’s Degree Required
