Job Title: Python Software Developer

Location: Springfield, VA

Eligibility: Candidate must possess an active TS/SCI clearance and be
willing to obtain a CI Polygraph

Job Description:

- Researches, designs, develops, tests, and/or modifies
enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software

- Analyzes user/business software system requirements and determines
needs

- Determine the functionality of an application and performs upgrades
over time

- Maintains documentation to support software development policies,
standards, and procedures

- Establish and Improve system monitoring while maintaining
established security protocols within development, test, and
production systems

- Works under the guidance of the Scrum Master to produce accurate
delivery estimates and manage the transition from analysis through
to design and delivery

- Provides progress updates to Scrum Master and the team to ensure the
management of any delivery risks or concerns

- Works with the team to plan future sprints, define stories and
estimate efforts

- Works on a range of projects involving the implementation of new and
existing systems, solutions, and processes

- Designs, implements, and maintains application code on various
networks

- Contributes in all phases of the software development life cycle

- Writes well designed, testable, efficient code

- Ensures designs are in compliance with specifications

- Recommends changes to improve established application processes

- Prepares and produces releases of software components

- Writes automated unit test cases and evaluation code quality using
automated tools

- Writes automated integration test cases and resolves issues

- Supports formal testing and resolves test defects

- Provides technical support and consultation for application and
infrastructure questions

- Utilizes the customer's enterprise DevSecOps pipeline
