Job Title: Field Inspector
Job Location: North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia - Remote

JOB DESCRIPTION
Seeking a Field Inspector to support the delivery of energy efficiency
programs to commercial and industrial customers with direct support of
weatherization and energy efficiency programs in North Carolina, South
Carolina, and Virginia (Multiple Positions). Final assigned
territories will be specific counties based on your location and
travel distance. As a Field Inspector you conduct site inspections for
residential energy efficiency projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and schedule site visits with customers participating in
energy efficiency programs in the designated territory. The
purpose of the site visit is to validate site conditions reflect
project document submittals for installed measures and quality
review of installed measures and satisfactory project completion.
- Confirm project scopes of work and confirm that scopes match project
applications and records.
- Conduct site visits to document existing conditions,
operations/installations, and schedules and to identify installed
energy efficiency measures. Verify compliance with program
requirements.
- Utilizing company provided software, develop inspection reports that
summarize on-site findings and include photographs and action
items to resolve discrepancies.
- Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database to ensure
projects are properly documented and vetted.
- Understand and utilize program guidelines, qualified products and
other project documentation utilized to validate installation of
energy efficient measures.
- Manage queue of projects to ensure timeliness of site visits and
inspection reports.
- Successfully complete assigned work on time and within budget.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external
stakeholders.
- Understand and implement safety requirements/protocols/documents.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Residency within the State of (North Carolina, South Carolina, or
Virginia)
- Reliable means of transportation to facilitate site visits
throughout assigned territory.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Aptitude for understanding residential energy efficiency and
weatherization technologies.
- Organized and proficient in computer and record-keeping skills:
willingness to train for entry level access and use of Customer
Relationship Management (CRM) software/database.
- Ability to work with culturally diverse customers and contractors
effectively and respectfully.
- Critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Team-oriented, hands-on, adaptive, and client-focused
- Travel ~ 75% of working hours within service territory.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree, or Associate’s degree with at least four years of
relevant experience.

WORK LOCATION
Primarily field work/site visits supported by virtual meetings. Work
location is home/remove.
